Hairspray Hair Bun

I took a trip to Dublin recently and stumbled across a shop called Hairspray, they are hair extension specialists and have a massive range of different extensions to suit any budget or hair colour.

I decided that I would buy a hair scrunchie to give my hair a bit of extra volume when I put it up and I absolutely love it.

The ladies in the shop matched my hair up to get the best match possible (there were loads of colours) and I loved it so much I even opted to wear it out of the shop!

Here are some before and after pics:

This scrunchie is made from artificial hair and cost me around 15 euros, which was a complete bargain in my opinion.

It is really easy to wash, you just use mild baby shampoo and let it dry naturally and it looks great when dry.

I like using this when I have no time to do much with my hair, it creates an up style pretty effortlessly and saves me loads of time in the morning! Also its quite easy to accesorise with a nice hair band or  to make it look more jazzy and make it look like you've put in even more effort!

Autumn Lipstick Favs

Hey Everyone

As much as I love Summer, Autumn is my absolute favourite time of year! I love the feeling of the crisper air and starting to snuggle up in lovely toastie scarves and boots!

In Autumn time I tend to darken up my lips a bit compared to the pinks I would usually wear in the summer. Here are a few of my absolute fav lippies that I have picked up for the colder months this year.

Each lipstick is mentioned in order photographed.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate: shade 107

This is such a versatile shade, its a beautiful wine red shade and looks great on! Also it is matte and looks super pretty when applied.

Revlon Colour Burst: shade 245 Audacious and 005 Crush Beguin
These are two very pretty, and very different shades, 245 is a very orange matte balm, it is super pigmented and looks great with bronzed looks and 005 is more of a berry shade with a hint of sheen that looks amazing with rosy cheeks and more feminine girlie looks.
Revlon Super Lusterous: shade 477 Black Cherry
I absolutely adore this shade, it is perfect for the winter and looks amazing with dark smoky eyes and a little black dress.

Essence: shade 006 Barely There
This shade is definitely more tame, its more of a nude kind of shade that looks amazing with more basic, toned down make up looks.

As you can see I kind of have a thing for red lipstick at the moment :)

What's your fav lippies at the moment?

Planning My Perfect Day

It feels like I have been planning my wedding for a lifetime now, we got engaged on a cold winters morning in France almost 4 years ago! It feels like coming closer to the big day I am filled with both excitement and anxiety! It doesn't matter how much I prepare, it still feels as though I have missed something!

Luckily I have the ultimate weapon for any bride to be, my wedding planner :) if I had to describe it, I would call it a Filefax activity book (remember those?) for weddings, and I absolutely adore mine!

As you can see you can add all the details of you big day, and also there are calendars and plastic pockets for swatches and important receipts! I bring mine everywhere, so I can keep my swatches (bridesmaid colours) and booking info safe when it need them to colour match up ties, ribbons and shoes etc!

I also like the thought of keeping it and showing it to my future children and it's also a nice keepsake for myself!

If your getting married I definitely recommend you buy one, they are also a nice engagement gift, my mum was nice enough to buy me mine! If you are looking for one they are available on Amazon and also some gift shops as well!
